Belén de la Cruz is a passionate Argentinian mom and entrepreneur who has turned her love of flavorful cooking, into a successful business. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Belén credits her Mom’s amazing cooking skills as the inspiration to share fresh and delicious meals around the family table. It was this inspiration that got her started in teaching others how to prepare and enjoy her traditional Argentine recipes. Her cooking lessons were a hit, and pretty soon, the dream of sharing the flavors and culture of her native Argentina with even more people was born. With the support of her brother and the encouragement of her family, Belén opened the first Belén de la Cruz Empanadas and Pastries in February 2020 in Johns Creek. Opening day was a smashing success in the community, with her empanadas selling out like hot… empanadas! Shortly after, Covid hit and Belén is grateful for the community’s support that sustained her and her team through the Pandemic. From then on, Belén de la Cruz Empanadas and Pastries has continued to grow, opening three more locations, in Marietta, Chattahoochee Food Works, and Senoia. A self-taught cook, with a strong passion for décor and design, Belén has turned these two hobbies into a brand name synonymous with fresh, high-quality empanadas, cakes, and pastries “Baked with Love.“ With carefully crafted recipes, baked to the highest standards, Belén de la Cruz Empanadas and Pastries captures the spirit of sharing a satisfying meal with friends and family around a nicely set table, just like her mother used to do.
